@calebccff wow water cooling is so easy now.Back in my day, I had to mill my own waterblock out of a brick of copper because literally no one was making components for PC water cooling. I had to do that, both ways, uphill in the snow.

upgraded to a 16 core Ryzen 9 7950x, 64GB of DDR5 and a nice new 2tb NVMEIt compiles the SDM845 kernel config at least twice as fast as my previous 3700x, although that was before i bumped the memory clocks up to 5400MHz... DDR5 is a mess y'all

@craftyguy pahaha omg, yeah kids these days... đŸ˜‹machining your own water cooling parts sounds frickin awesome! this thing still hits 90C under load, maybe i should have gone for a 360mm rad... 170W TDP is just stupid
