The verdict so far: interfacing is amazing, the shape and fit is okay, I need to lower the neckline and narrow the shoulders, and a dinosaur button will be required for closure.Tomorrow we shop for real fabric.

The verdict: Yes. Redrafted neckline is right where it needs to be to show just enough undershirt to match the character, very sporty. Need to tack down the arms holes better.Since I can't play Zelda I might as well attack the skirt.Youngest has prepped the wig and learned to do "smokey eye".

The Radio Rebel cosplay looks like a real dress!The waistline, sob, is too too low. One emergency fix was a fail. I'll try again tomorrow. There will be a wide belt that I hope will hide a multitude of sins.#sewing #RadioRebel #morp #prom

Emergency deep pleat to save the waistline of the Radio Rebel prom cosplay. 6 inches of pleat (15 cm). The sequined belt will be very important to cover it, wheeze.It looks so much more even than yesterday's attempt. Time to go buy a zipper.#sewing #morp #prom

Zipper is in! Visible but we're calling it Fashion. Youngest can work it smoothly on their own. The third and final attempt at an emergency pleat (8 inches) is hard to spot.Hemmed the underskirt too (I don't want to discuss that chaos). Tomorrow: belt and tacking everything down.
