Is there any way to make @ivory download the all new posts when opening the app, so that tapping at the top brings you to the newest post? It feels annoying to have to go through multiple batches of 200 posts to get to the top.

@NorCal_Lynne The problem only exists if I have more than 200 unread posts. I scroll to the top, and it loads 200 more. Then I scroll to the top again, and it loads another 200, etc.

@anderspuck Interesting. I understand what you’re saying, on my phone it doesn’t do that in batches of 200. I can have several hundred load and then the occasional batch of a couple hundred. 🤔 Hope you can get an answer.

@anderspuck are you using the latest version? We made changes to that and it loads way more than 200 posts at a time now.

@anderspuck @ivory The reason I use Ivory is that it keeps its place and syncs between iOS and iPadOS. I never want to jump to the top. Thank you for not making this a default behavior.

@michaelslade @ivory I wasn't asking for the default behavior to be to open at the top. Only that I could jump to the top in one click instead of about 10. But incidentally the problem was solved in an app update yesterday.

@anderspuck In the old TweetBot days, a tap on the top of the screen did that behavior and it drove me crazy. Glad to see it more hidden and available to those who want it. I see you follow twice as many as I do, so it is a greater concern for you.

@michaelslade In Ivory it is a setting that you can enable. But I think the brilliant thing is that if you push it by error, you can just push it again, and it goes back to where you were.
