@GottaLaff Having been part of an executive branch declassification program at one point during my long career. I can assure that although the President may have the ultimate declassification authority in the end. This does not until a thorough review by the sometimes multiple agencies responsible for information in the documents. I spent many days in a SCIF at the National Archives storage facility in College Park, MD doing this on behalf of my agency.
