My son (who is almost 11) wants to learn to play Dungeons & Dragons. Is that too young? What are the best resources for kids getting into RPG?

@jarango it’s not too young. I started playing around that age. You need to gauge his and your appetite for combat, but it’s actually the social interactions I’ve found kids struggle more with. Like what to do when you walk into a tavern… they don’t have that life experience. There are lots of great adventures for kids though. @apolaine @jarango I agree-- it's not too young! My younger nephew has been playing since he was 8. He was always into Pokémon, and switched seamlessly to D&D monsters via the Young Adventurer's Guide (which I DON'T have, Andy :P) so that could be a good way to start of you're set on D&D.Easier entry points for both of you might be other systems like EZD6 or Honey Heist if you'd rather start smaller!
