       I really do not understand car companies and/or journalists who talk about €60,000 vehicles as the "perfect car for a young family". Really?? When my kids were small I could barely afford a second hand Fiat Panda. What young families are they on about? William and Kate??

       @greg_harvey Different brands but the same concept here in the U.S. I am grateful that I was fortunate to eventually afford a few new Hondas as the kids got older that did, in fact, enhance our family travel experiences. But now, years later, back to complete bewilderment on how any middle income young person can afford a new vehicle. Our adult kids with good jobs drive old cars. My own work trucks are 13 and 23 years old.
