       Degrees from prestigious universities mean nothing when one becomes a fascist dictator: So, let's do the math. 26% of Floridians are Latino, 16% are black, 9% are two races or AAPI, etc. And of the 52% of Floridians who are white, half are women. Others are disabled, etc. In other words, DeSantis is targeting programs that help/focus on three-quarters of Floridians. -D Rothkopf  #DeathSantis

       @KimPerales @justiceLICSW agreed, but sometimes we don't see the bigger picture when it comes to Latinos (they speak a Latin language), the only similarity they have. For instance, Dominicans, Puerto Ricans and Cubans are from the same area and interconnected. Politically, they are as similar as GOP and Dems. To Euroamericans, they are Mexicans. When it comes to North and South America, their biggest similarity is that -b/c of the church's chokehold- they believe abortion  and gayness are wrong.
