@nyx @Nizzy i used to think of myself as a stoner (and maybe i've just slowed down over the years), but the the absurd amount that some people i've met smoke makes me feel like i'm microdosing. like taking-fat-dab-rips-several-times-a-day level. at that point you might as well take up hard drugs. obviously the issues with physical dependence aren't nearly as bad, but in terms of just being disabled 24/7 i can't imagine it being all that different.this is why i think people should be forced to smoke schwag a couple times when they're just getting started to have some kind of baseline for what getting high is "supposed to" feel like.

@hazy @Nizzy you should read the blackpaper (its on her pinned) its an interesting read. Im not sure i follow it/comprehend it 100% but its worth a read. I find a lot of the g/acc and xenofem stuff quite interesting toobut sometimes im worried its just ironypoisoning that i feel that way. It doesnt help.i have trouble comprehending a lot of these theory texts because a lot of it uses a lot of complex words that are hard for me to read on a screen and often reference texts i either have not read yet or referencing events im not too familliar with (for ex nyx referencing lilith and the keballah in the blackpaper is not something im going to understand as im not familliar with the keballah) reading comprehension also isnt my strongsuit but its better than my math skills....

@hazy @Nizzy its worth a read cause it feels like its an elaborate shitpost more often than not but it also has some interesting points within that paper that you can make out. Esp the stuff about linux/free software and using it to accelerate gender which is more or less already happening even if nyx didnt write these thoughts down on her manifesto

@Mondobizarrro @Nizzy just an anecdote but as someone who very much fits the transfem linux user stereotype ive not had nearly that much thought or intention in it, i like seeing how software i use works whether or not im free to modify and distribute it and ive gravitated to unix-like things because i like how the design is old and yet still works perfectly today, it's just interesting to me and it being free software is just a bonus fun extra thing
