I’m slowly spending more and more time inside #Emacs thanks to #mu4e, #elfeed, #mastodonel, #pdftools, #dired and quite a few other packages. I still haven’t hopped on EXWM full time, I really only use it on my Chromebook, and I can’t use it at work, but being able to do pretty much everything just with the keyboard really is a blessing!

What I really need now is an Emacs client for Discord and for Teams, but I doubt we’ll get either of them any time soon.

@phundrak Unfortunately I think third party Discord clients go against Discord TOS, so I guess any attemp at creating one for Emacs will result in a Cease and Desist letter from Discord.

Now I'm wondering how feasible it would be to create a #nextcloud package for #emacs. And another package for synchronizing #elfeed with Nextcloud News

@phundrak I think TRAMP has support for Nextcloud. But I've never tried. Might be good, might be horrible.

@hochata It requires GNOME Online Accounts, which I don’t have since I’m not using GNOME, and I doubt it implements features such as creating shareable links or commenting on files.

@hochata Yeah, that’s a pity. I doubt we’ll ever get viable Discord client alternatives, let alone Teams clients alternatives
