I personally don’t see how an opinion can be wrong. I mean, it’s an opinion? Not a fact. Opinions can’t be wrong or right. Maybe if we step into the realm of morality. “Right” or “wrong” may apply idk. But everyone’s right or wrong is different. Soo is there a point? :acat10:

@buttonchovi I don't really think in terms of the word "opinion," I think in terms of beliefs ("cows are extinct," incorrect) vs. values ("cows ought to be extinct," can't be incorrect, but can be opposed to my own values). It kind of sounds like you're talking about the latter, I think?

@bi_erru @buttonchovi I might say "It's a fact that cows are not extinct"; or "it seems true" or "it seems like a fact to me that cows are not extinct" if I were talking about the belief, instead of about the cows. But I would avoid mixing them to say "It *is a fact to me* that cows aren't extinct," because I believe that an objective reality exists independently from my beliefs about it.If you're saying that believing something true feels the same as believing something false, then I agree. But if you're saying that everyone's beliefs are equally true, then I disagree.People are still entitled to their beliefs of course: they can have whatever religion they want, for example, and this is an important right to protect. But in reality, the various gods either exist or don't, and people's beliefs can either match reality or not.
