       Okay, anyone be able to shed some like on what these stats mean on our instance #Sidekiq? I mean I get what processed is. But what is failed, busy, retries, scheduled, and dead? Are those figures the number of posts going out from our insurance or into? Or both? @mastohost maybe?#MastoAdmin #Mastodon #MastodonInstance

       @kylewritescode @mastohost first a job is enqueued, once there's an available worker slot it goes to busy, if it fails it is enqueued (or scheduled idk) to be retried again, this happens a few times until it gives up, then it's dead but can still be manually retried; looks like it keeps the last 10,000 of those, then its data is deleted and it is recorded as failed. scheduled is for jobs that are scheduled like scheduled posts or maintenance jobs.look at them to see what kind of stuff is in them. there's many different kinds of jobs

       @kylewritescode Probably https://github.com/sidekiq/sidekiq/wiki/Job-Lifecycle will help.But yes, Sidekiq will process both activity in and out of your server (not just posts, but favourites, boosts, follows, etc).
