       My salt-of-the-earth grandparents used to warn me there was more to life than “book learning,” and now I want to repeat that advice to people who are worried #AI will take over. Sign manipulation is great. But there’s also a real world out there that doesn’t align w/ our sign systems.

       @TedUnderwood Not so sure about that, physics has done quite some impressive stuff in the field of "understanding the world with sign systems"If we find one that aligns with the real world, which I find quite possible, then i guess your toot needs an update
