So, it is just now coming to my attention that thanks to a complicit corporate media who doesn't talk about things like this, many Americans are confused re: CNN, its intentions, and why it had a town hall for a fascist. Let me tell you what they apparently are not telling you on the news:A rich nazi bought CNN months ago and is pretending he's making it more like Fox to "be profitable." He is not. He's a rich nazi, spending his money the way rich nazis do - to spread nazisim.

@AnarchoNinaWrites For those who just so pay attention to other news, e.g. entertainment, that's the same rich Nazi who immediately decided to kill the Batgirl movie, eliminate a great deal of WB's library, and effectively decimate the remaining projects. Kept Blood Libel Legacy, though.Kinda interesting how a circle-jerking oligarchy always comes back to complete suckitude on all fronts, doesn't it?

(Pssst, remember that bit where a crazy woman was screaming at you "don't tell me about protecting OUR media, I don't own it, and for profit media under capitalism ALWAYS ends up serving the rich fascists; it has NEVER been ANY OTHER WAY..." Can you imagine why I'm brining that up now? You can? Oh good!)

@AnarchoNinaWrites Thanks. I was wondering what happened. CNN used to be a reliable reporter of actual news.

I'm trying to understand the breadth of his power, so here is what I've found so far:> Under the deal, which is expected to close in mid-2022, AT&T would receive $43 billion in an all-stock transaction. AT&T shareholders would receive stock representing 71% of the new company; Discovery shareholders would own 29% of the company. The combined company would be run by Discovery President and CEO David Zaslav.> Malone holds 26.5% of the voting power, the largest single shareholder, for Discovery. The combined directors and executive officers as a group, about 20 people, have 28.2% of the voting power. He has more than 1.1 million shares of Series A stock; nearly 6.2 million shares of Series B stock, which means he holds 95% of that stock class; and nearly 12.2 million shares of Series C stock, of which he holds 3.7%.What exactly is his leverage here? If he only has 26.5% of the voting power is it just the threat of him selling shares and sabotaging their stock price or something?https://archive.is/2021.06.21-180515/https://www.bizjournals.com/denver/news/2021/05/17/john-malone-discovery-warnermedia-merger.html

@AnarchoNinaWrites CNN was bought by Discovery Networks. I’m going to need to see some proof of your accusations that Discovery Networks is owned by a rich Nazi.
