It's bulky item pickup weekend in my neighborhood. AKA spring Christmas. Scored a brand new air fryer, a working string trimmer, a working bandsaw, a working radio arm saw, a box of power tools, adorn fridge that needs a little clean up, a chainsaw that I'm fixing, and a hose. That was in a little over 30 minutes time walking around my neighborhood!

@JackBandit trash pickup. A lot of houses did yard sales earlier in the day and then just put out what they didn't sell on the corner

Neighbor was putting these on the curb. I was all "really?!"and he was all "yeah" and I immediately loaded them in my car!

@CoffeeFingers perhaps. Same for the chainsaw and string trimmer. BTW, The trimmer crate on the third try once I put gas in it. My yard has never looked better!

@ultrastar those Chicago miter saws are practically useless. They are typically not square and the radial arm bobs up and down make it impossible to do any sort of trim work.

@KillerMule he said his father-in-law gave him, and he would not be using them. My neighborhood is mostly upper middle class, laptop class and healthcare professionals below the MD level. PAs, researchers and whatnot. Only a couple virtue signs in yards. One Ukraine flag (70 houses).

@Invictus and the chainsaw is a poulan wild thing. I'm sure it's plastic gears and all that stuff. But again, light work. And for a $10 repair kit from Amazon it's worth it for the little branches around my crib
