       @Natureshadow @steve https://docs.vocata.one/ has an SSL errorjoke aside on how you feel with AP, what approach do you have with data persistency?my Python is terrible enough so I can’t inspect your approach, but do you save the JSON-LD "as is" or do you only keep the data that interests you?if that’s the former, how do you store it?

       @gabriel @Hyolobrika @Natureshadow @steveit's a great idea. maybe this will be part of it, but I think most people will want to have a home on the fedi with the capability of interacting well with any new service that pops up. they don't want to choose Mastodon or Calckey or have multiple accounts. they'll use apps tailored toward specific functionalities. but there will also be more professional users, who may want server software focused on journalism or business or government agency stuff.

       @wjmaggos @gabriel @Hyolobrika@berserker.town @steve One does not contradict the other.Mastodon could just as well be a Vocata client. The only difference would be that the client talks ActivityPub to the server instead of Mastodon's proprietary protocol.
