       I really hope the allegations against South Africa for arming Russia are not true but I have a feeling they are..South Africa is a little tooo friendly with dictators like Putler and Xi Jinpooh.. 😟

       @stux That has a historical background.The Soviets and communist Chinese supported the African National Congress (ANC) in its battle against the Apartheid regime of the European white supremacy.The South African politicans all lived through that awful time and are highly sceptical of “the West” because they want to go their own way without western paternalism.Right now that’s pretty bad, but one has to acknowledge this particular fact, that Russia is still a good friend.

       @stux even South Africans believe they are (and those that are in a position to know and care are unhappy about it), and it’s in line with their earlier actions, so 🤷🏼‍♂️

       @stux Makes sense. Russians were arming and training SWAPO guerrillas in Angola during apartheid in the late 70s/early 80s. We know where Kalashnikovs come from…and there are loads in many parts of Africa, including the south west.
