       @iro_miya I was told to just not click cws I don't understand. But I try to make sure I cw my own posts effectively, the make believe shorthand prevents me from learning what people expect to be cw'd. Sometimes I can figure it out, but other times - most recently with "ph" - legit took me a good while to not think that was PornHub.

       @foxwyn@tech.lgbt yeahhhh also I don't get why the abbreviations. Like come on, you have the ability to type the full words yet you make it cryptic and also harder to filter.I have the same problem with tone indicators, is it really that hard to write "(I'm joking)" instead of "/j"?

       @iro_miya I didn't even know those were called tone indicators tbh. I only know /s is sarcasm, but I assumed they were references to 4chan boards or something. Not everyone transferred here after 10+ years on tumblr

       @iro_miya I appreciate the link. But I just find that to be absolutely absurd. Because in order for this to be accessible, you'd need to include the explanation link as part of every cw where you used the slang.
