@danialbehzadi @nixCraft Not liking their license, doesn't make it malware.

@Takiro @nixCraft That's literally an app which force your PC to run an encrypted piece of software which you have no idea what is it to prevent it from doing what you want it to do!If #DRM-ware is not malware, so what is malware?

@danialbehzadi @nixCraft Software intentionally designed to cause disruption to a computer, server, client, or computer network is malware. Being encrypted or not letting you do whatever you want with it, doesn't make it malware, just like your banking app isn't malware or your android phone isn't run by malware. And the otheway around: malware can be just as open source and "unencrypted" as anything else.

@Takiro @danialbehzadi @nixCraft Malware not only means doing harm to the device. Something that has malicious for user functions is malware too.And does Spotify has malicious functions? Of course it has.It requires every user to identify themselfs by their names, something for nessesary for streaming service. It takes a record of every song user listen to and contains a Facebook trackers both in all it's apps. It makes user antisocial by preventing sharing of music and implementing DRM.Imagine a physical music rental service that require you to set up a camera in the room where your music player is. This would be physical equivalent of Spotify.

@p54 @danialbehzadi @Takiro @nixCraft How is this argument still going?Do you visit every goverment-runned building and talk on every congress speech? No. But that doesn't mean they don't have to be publicly available. There is collective control over things.
