@icecavator woah AMAZING thank you!! i recognize some of these terms from the paper i was screenshotting here, though i am def not familiar with what qigong isfor context, these papers were the cia in a state of total paranoia thinking that russia and china had both succeeded in harnessing parapsychological superpowers and usa was being left in the dust for some reason i cannot quickly refind the paper i was looking at (at work rn) but there are plenty of these https://archive.org/details/CIA-RDP96-00792R000400260001-5/(guessing that you're already familiar, but just in case / for people reading this) are you chinese or were you just studying this at some point?

Qigong just refers to any kind of exercises to Develop and Cultivate Qi. basically think of hunter hunter nen??:there's martial arts qigong, you've probably seen this in movies, tai chi is a qigong, herbal medicine can be qigong, meditation qigong, but the ones referenced in the book are very much not that. they're even wooier.im not chinese, i am wasian, i don't study china but i do study asia stuff, I'll probably need to learn chinese someday. my good friend does china stuff and put me on to this a couple years back
