Also the reporting of who is half white half black is depending on the parents what they want to put down on the birth certificate so its not the most reliable of data especially in the south where it is very beneficial to just put black. Like that original chart had montana as 5-15 percent and there are like 5,000 black people in the entire state, you can see how just a few makes it seem like there are a lot of coal burners when the south could have 10x the amount of them but a lower percent of pop.
