@marco Tap a hashtag to open the hashtag timeline, then tap the plus button on top bar.

@MonaApp When I tap a hashtag it opens Safari and shows the hashtag on the origin server. For example, if I should click #MonaApp it will open safari and do a search on this hashtag on the server social.vdheide.net

not the API, the Pleroma/Akkoma hashtag linking mechanism just auto links to /tags/hashtag which is what it appears Mastodon does when I click on hashtags (but I'm not logged in on that Mastodon instance)What is it supposed to do now?

@feld The HTML links for hashtags need to be tagged with classes “mention” and “hashtag” otherwise the hashtags are treated as general webpage URLs.
