       @lowqualityfactsFirst discovered by a drunken movie goer, if I recall correctly. Though that had been the way movies were originally designed to view, no one told the audience. It's one of those quirks of history.

       @lowqualityfacts as young teens we used to take the seat cushions off the chairs (they were oddly removable at our local cinema) and put them on the ground at the base of the screen and lie looking up at the screen.The usher/manager would come and yell at us and we'd sheepishly put them back until they left lol
