Isn't it interesting that they define Nazis as right wing, when the party was the National Socialist German Workers' Party, which has a collectivist focus And an authoritarian socialist bent. Sounds and looks left wing to me.

@matthewrbird The "nationalism" part -- one ethnic group per civilization -- is far-Right, but the rest is built on the Communist model, much like the Fascists.

Funny Rock is the best Rock, and nobody was better at it than Van Halen with David Lee Roth. Every other songs of their has a good laugh or two in them.

@FourOh-LLC @matthewrbird Iron Maiden has a sense of humor hidden away in some of their material as well. Bands knew how to be funny at the same time as serious and wistful, which made for a good mix.

Eddie Trunk noted on this a few times - if your music is about slaying dragons and rescuing from ivory towers - your ART will put you into a different genre and audience despite you all sound the same.I love to listen to George Lynch, I love his plugged and unplugged, but when he is in a band - even when he is the LEADER of the band he is unsubstantiated. His solo is under-powered, his notes off ever so slightly, and his unplugged Spanish acoustic is right on. @FourOh-LLC @matthewrbird People like music that makes life seem more interesting.Most people of a certain intelligence or above have some skill that they can use. Some are painters, some writers, some plumbers, some coders, and some end up as lawyers or proctologists. What matters is using what you have to the max.I know a lot of people like George Lynch. I am more from the death metal side of things, so it is a black box to me.
