I mean fair play, mmmmmaaaybe they're messing with the API. I doubt it, but it's a possibility. If they are, the ARL thing hasn't mentioned it. It *did* mention the paid version, which I guess is the one where you can activate plugins for things.

like I know this is a constant theme of mine, but it's just *so depressing* how cheerfully libraries surrender any sort of actual skills-building and hiring of people just so they can throw money at some for-profit jerkwads and go "look! we did a thing!"
