       @grubermaybe we start treating people who demand blocking/defederating for non harassment like the trolls that are actually worth blocking etc. "we hear but disagree. have a nice day." they do not represent anyone but themselves. stop turning this into a huge deal. they are soccer/basketball players calling bullshit fouls and fucking up the game for everyone else.

       @gruber Nah. It's safe to just ignore everyone who keeps screaming about how they're going to defederate everybody. In the end they'll have a network consisting of only their own server. I stopped following the #fediblock hashtag a long time ago for this reason. A very small amount of instance admins making a lot of noise relevant to noone but themselves.
