@quad Yeah, I haven't seen weeaboo around much recently so the update explains that. But I do recall it being one of the older instances, don't recall there being an issue with the instance/users. Although you might remember some drama with other instances.

@quad Yeah, that sounds like a good intention there. I think fedi works best when there are a lot of instances which remain small. Enough to form a small community within the instance to be welcoming but also communicate with others outside the instance. Probably keeps the drama down. Especially as the drama people prefer a larger audience for the attention it brings. It's good to hear when an instance has managed to carry on for so long too. So many have quickly come and gone.

Apparently there's more people than I thought who either haven't moved yet or who didn't notice the E-mail that went out like two months ago, so the shutdown has been postponed 2 days to give people some extra time to move. The shutdown will instead happen on the 12th of May.In other words, on Friday.
