       I wonder if a few established, Aotearoa-owned IT companies could get money from Green Investment Finance to scale up locally-owned datacentres, running on renewably-generated electricity? That could bring the bring of onshore hosting down, putting it within reach of more people who currently use fossil-fueled corporate datacentres in other countries. More demand could then drop prices further, bringing in more customers, creating a virtuous cycle, and helping to pay back the GIF investment.
