       @pixelfed The Fediverse is slowly gaining momentum in the mainstream media*, so a very good ActivityPub-powered Instagram alternative (that they didn't create themselves) can seem very scary for Meta executives.* The biggest public broadcaster in the world, ARD, just launched their Mastodon instance https://ard.social.        @GlowingLantern @pixelfed well, in terms of public income ARD is probably the biggest but just cause of their multiple children …https://de.statista.com/statistik/daten/studie/196121/umfrage/gez-einnahmen-nach-rundfunkanstalt/ But it is very close to the other German Public Broadcaster #ZDF …In terms of reach the ZDF leads with 14,7 %.        @kalisz79@pol.social Unless you want to get banned. :P They ban people just because they can.They did that to me, clearly with no violation since I rarely leave comments and upload. When I upload, it's my own creation (in rare cases under Fair Use or CC-BY / CC-BY-SA). I don't even “re-upload”, and I gave them a copy of my business registration too when I tried to apply for the verified badge. = ban hammer ROFL.They won't even respond to my request of data removal.@pixelfed@mastodon.social
