This add-on for the NVDA screen reader is one of the most interesting text-to-speech voices I've tried. It pronounces things a little differently each time.Piper is a fast, local neural text to speech system that sounds great and is optimized for low-end devices such as the Raspberry Pi.https://github.com/mush42/piper-nvdaFrom playing with this for a minute, here are my 1st observations... The voices are much more realistic than smaller TTS synthesizers such as eSpeak or even Eloquence, but there's a big lag that is noticeable especially with higher quality voices. That being said though this is cool for the reading of material. It's in alpha stage so has potential.
