@tubularnebula having few rules visible doesn't mean that's the number of rules that are enforced. Information and Thought control are specifically common, Behavior and Emotional control are enforced by the broader group.Being in a high control group doesn't mean there's a massive rule book lying around waiting to punish you. It can just as easily be that there are countless hidden traps waiting to be sprung arbitrarily(uneven moderation, genuine DARVO and gaslighting when confronted). I said budding for a reason.Apparently there's a discord that's been used for "cancelation campaigns" too, for what it's worth. This is a budding high control group. Having been around the block, get out while you can.

@tubularnebula from somebody in the discord who's asked that I not share their name. I am not in it and didn't know it existed until after I left NNIA. This is not a healthy space to exist in. It is toxic at minimum and slowly venturing into BITE model compatibility.

@TheSomebodies @tubularnebula i was hesitant to identify myself at first, but i'm the member of "Fluffy Fwends Club" discord. i saw someone put out a questionable/unpopular take on nnia (something about wanting transage people to have a distinct pride movement that isn't associated with yaps), it got discussed on discord, then there was a "cancelling" where several people piled onto the target. that disturbed me because i thought i had escaped that shit when i quit twitter, so i've mostly lurked since then and i'm even kinda bad at doing that. it's just... unsafe feeling.as far as the BITE model goes, i don't really agree that they're hitting many strong indicators. they can be wrong and a toxic environment without being a high control group.
