       Shots fired in the Editing chapter of my new book on writing a tech book:"One mistake many grammar nerds make is assuming there is only one set of grammar rules: what they learned in high school or college. Like with many topics, grammar is taught in a simplified form in entry-level classes. Rules of thumb like "never end a sentence with a preposition" from guides like The Elements of Style are helpful for beginners, but grammar rules for writing professionals are much more nuanced."#writing

       Chapter 6 complete! I think the rest of this draft is going to go pretty fast, as it is covering the publishing and post-publishing processes, which aren't as involved as the writing and formatting.
