       @fightlessbirds @ringo I dipped my toes into fountain pens a year or so ago. Did some Lamys and Drydens.I think I like the Drydens better, but the Lamys are lower maintenance.

       @professortom Hmm, have never used a Dryden. That red Lammy is my daily carry. I really like the grip, and the ink window.

       @fightlessbirds I think I like the grip of the Drydens better, but Lamy cartridges have more ink.I've found that Lamys are harder properly insert because of the length of the cartridge.

       @professortom Yeah those are beefy cartridges. The only pen I have that lasts longer is a Kaweco Sport that I did an eyedropper conversion on.

       @professortom @fightlessbirds try schaeffer.  never had a dryden.lamys some people love them but ive never enjoyed how stiff the nibs are.
