@Bloomfer @mitexleo definitely a tough time to be a parent. I don't understand half the shit they're dealing with, but I listen and I try to relate as best I can. They pick up on that and they cut me some slack.

@Bloomfer @mitexleo online bullying and abuse. Kids in school claiming to be actual Nazis. Body image issues. Some things I understand, but there are lots of subtleties and lots of nuance I often just can't comprehend but I listen to their feelings about it and help them process. And of course take "official" action with the school for certain things.

a child claiming to be a nazi isn't something i would worry over much. we all had a rebellious phase and later in our formative years settled on a much more moderate position. we always insulted us online but it felt like there was a barrier we somewhat crossed after the first iphone was released. i don't trust any officials to do what is right, besides ensuring they have a job tomorrow

@Bloomfer @mitexleo oh and the education system in this country just completely crumbling. Teachers are miserable, kids are terrible, governments don't care about any of it. It's a mess. I fear for future generations, honestly.
