This is rad! Goodbye playing on my phone when I'm stuck somewhere and bored. Hello reading (ok, and playing) on my PDA when I'm stuck somewhere and bored.P.S. I just tried to slide my PDA stylus into the headphone jack of my cellphone. In my defense the headphone jack is in roughly the same location as the stylus slot on the PDA.

@kelbot Maybe I will break out my Sharp Zaurus. It had the wifi module so theoretically it should be able to do all the stuff.

The dream here is to pop it in the cradle every few days or so and run my hotsync script while it charges a bit and automatically pull down some fresh offline reading material.

@purple @kelbot yeah, but you have to get stuff on to it first, right? I don't remember if the Zaurus mounted as a drive. I haven't turned it on in at least 15 years.

@geniodiabolico@social.ellijaymakerspace.org @kelbot@retro.social yep, we convert whatever in to eventually a "palm database" which hotsyncs over. no drive letters here, which is a blessing and a curse for sure
