       Lately I see so many rustic brick homes being "refreshed" by painting the entirety of the brickwork a stark, ugly white. I assume one of HGTV's stable of house-flipper bozos has made this technique popular, but to me it robs homes of their character and gives them the appearance of generic industrial buildings.

       @shaun I saw this in a very high end neighborhood recently. Current owners have the house blurred out in Google Maps or I would show you.
