My #googlefi updated 4.Well it is not looking great for keeping Google Fi as our phone service. Speeds are great. Coverage is fairly good. Not as good as Cricket but ok.The main issue is, my wife and I have had to restart our phones a few times each to regain service, on seperate times of the day in a one week period. The phone says no service, even though we do have service there. The problem is resolved as soon we restart our phones. Working with support.#cellular #5g

@FredI was going to guess, it sounds like you have a Pixel 6 pro. So I have Mint which also uses Tmobile network like Google Fi and I had the same problem. It's the phone. I upgraded to pixel 7 pro when it came out cause I suspected all those dropped signal issues was hardware and it was. With Pixel 6 pro I would just drop connection randomly and would have to perform all these steps to get it back. I've had no issue with the 7 pro. Sucks but Google should replace everyone's 6 if they use Tmobi

@FredGoogle never admitted it but people took apart the 7 and 6 and compared and they did change some minor things to the antenna

@PhilGastwirth well that stinks to hear, if that is true we might need to go back to Cricket. It's not in the cards to upgrade phones yet for us.

@FredYeah sorry for the info. I've been seeing good things about visible.Google had a great initial trade in for pixel 6 pro so I only lost maybe 100 dollars but I had uses the phone for a full year. So to me the wear and tear trade in value was worth it. I wish Google would just acknowledge the issue. So many people affected. I was part of some pixel 6 groups on fb and it was half the people complaining

@PhilGastwirth @jcrabapple found this in a Reddit post about this issue with the Pixel 6. So both you guys were on the right trail. I'm going to do the below and see if it is resolved."Had a very similar issue. Disable WiFi Calling and Adaptive Connectivity. Mine would completely disable cellular sometimes when I was on WiFi and I could only fix it by power cycling my phone. I turned off Adaptive Connectivity and WiFi Calling and it hasn't given me an issue since."

@FredI do remember trying that. I think that did help. I can't remember if it fully solved the issue. @jcrabapple
