@dookie @Hyolobrika This troll spent an hour making outrageous false claims which they attributed to a video that had nothing to do with it. Our room is not a place for people to mislead others while not providing any source from extraordinary claims. They have previously trolled about other topics. People took them as acting in good faith and they derailed the chat in the room for a ridiculously long time making clearly false claims before I decided to deal with it.

@dookie @Hyolobrika Leaving out the part where that person repeatedly claimed code could be run on devices remotely via the sensors without an exploit. They completely misrepresented a video which they claimed stated what they said. I don't know why you expect me to allow the chat rooms to be derailed for hours by people making baseless claims while refusing to provide evidence. This person has done the same thing repeatedly. They are almost certainly a troll, and were treated as one.

@Hyolobrika no the analogy is the same by definition.The GrapheneOS Community Spaces are not public squares just because they're open to the public. That is the false analogy, the one you're making. We allow people to come to the rooms and espouse what they think, so long as they appreciate it may be challenged when wrong and they're happy to learn/be corrected. If they aren't and skip advice or repeat like a broken record, for everyones benefit listening we reserve the right to press stop.
