       I've been playing Space Adventure Cobra on the Sega CD lately and wow, I don't get why people are so negative about this game. Maybe it's just that I have a lot of experience with 80s pulp manga, but the plotting is exactly the right kind of charming cheese that I was expecting. The art is really nicely done, the voice acting is surprisingly good, and the translation's got exactly the right pulpy tone for the story. Really the definition of a B game done well.

       @misty For some reason people like to dunk on that type of graphic adventure... maybe because they do stuff like block progress until you do an action N times? I wish more were translated, I'd play the hell out of them with a walkthrough

       @moralrecordings Yeah... I don't know if it's just a question of what you played at the right time in your life, or what. I've got a real soft spot for them though. I wish we'd gotten more back in the day too. Seems like the kind of thing that's mostly too obscure to get a fan translation today too
