@AbbyFla I don't really think we have much to fear from aliens, unless they happen to be super sadistic, for whatever reason. If we do encounter aliens, it's likely that they'll have such masterful ability to manipulate the forces of nature that extraction of our resources is a needless venture - so, the only reason to really fuck with us would be if they really enjoy making others suffer - which, already, makes a ton of assumptions about their biology, in order to even be plausible

@fcktheworld587 @AbbyFla The biggest issue with any extra terrestrial lifeforms visiting earth is that they would most likely not even recognize humans much at all, and why would they prioritized us over other lifeforms on earth. Our success or demise would be largely left to chance with as much care we pay insects when doing yardwork. It's only our egos that makes us think they would want to be our saviour or nemesis. We would just be one of many lifeforms for them to interact with. Also another though experiment is why would they travel on "land". Wouldn't our oceans comprise a much larger percent of the surface of the planet both in width and depth with a larger variety of lifeforms. It's possible that they would spend most their time on earth in places unaccessible to humans and never even have to come in contact with us.
