       I just heard a very competent friend say today that it is too difficult figuring out Mastodon, too much work, couldn't be bothered.What I thought about later was that he is actually someone who helped a lot of people into using Linux.And it struck me how the situation is very much the same - it is not difficult to figure out how they work, the challenge is figuring out how they work *differently from* what you are used to.I really like this Fediverse, and I really like Linux.
