If "AI" is such a benefit to productivity maybe we should just tax all use of it accordingly then? Maybe your corporate OpenAI account should cost an additional few hundred EUR in taxes to help support the workers that system supposedly replaces?

@tante Yeah, like a tax, but one that puts the major part of the additional value added into the pockets of the replaced workers, projected over a reasonable timespan, say at least 20 years.

@LangerJan Tax it at the point of use. If you are in Germany you have to pay the tax when subscribing to OpenAI etc.
