@vriska @SwordFighterSuper my hospital bills don't collect interest so I just pay them off for 10 bucks a month. Everything else is paid off by the end of the cut off date. Its their fault for letting me have credit in the first place. :comfyyes:

@vriska @SwordFighterSuper I wouldn't profess to be a finance guru. I'm just really conservative with spending. I have croehn's disease so getting infusions is like 80 a session so I'm not bothered paying off slowly. Its everything else that's getting expensive :comfysip:

@vriska @SwordFighterSuper Yeah shits being managed now but I admitted myself into hospital with a lump in my guts thinking it was cancer or appendicitis, certainly was painful enough for it! Eventually after a while I was diagnosed with crohns with a inflamed bowel mass. Pumped full of anti-inflammatory and biologics and was sent on my way lol.

I knew a relative who dealt with colon cancer and it was real tough for him. You do chemo for it?

@Telvannichad @SwordFighterSuper they caught mine REALLY early so they were able to take care of it quick but I have a genetic mutation that pretty much guarantees it'll be back at some point. Right now its totally gone but I need to get a colonoscopy every 8 months forever because I had 30 polyps at 29 years old lmao I'm like, all good and everything, and sorry if I'm oversharing, its just nice to meet other people with fucked up digestive pain. makes me feel less alone

@Pike @SwordFighterSuper @vriska It wasn't genetic apparently but they seemed to think it was caused by stress. Some irl stuff was happening and I guess my body became schizo from it. Its fine honestly. Some days I'm really drained and can't really eat very processed slop too much anymore. Probably a benefit tbh and its managed by some IV sessions thanks to my jewish pharma chads so its alright.

The worst I can say is I had a stress related ulcer that hurt like hell but went away when one of the main stress factors was removed. It's amazing how your body will punish you for not properly dealing with stress.

@vriska @Telvannichad @SwordFighterSuper I wish deathly sick for two years, it seemed like I was dying. Doctors kept saying it was different kinds of cancers but couldn't find anything. I slowly got worse and worse until I couldn't do much more than move between the sofa and the bed. Never got an answer. I accepted that I was going to die and stopped going to doctors. One day out of nowhere I felt just a little bit better. slowly over the course of 3 months I made nearly a full recovery. Still have my throat blow up every once in a while like right now but really not too bad. And for all that I got nothing but being unemployed.

I now see stress as a liquid flowing though your body (metaphorically of course). You can try to bottle it up however you like, but until you deal with it properly it will keep flowing until the bottle explodes.Sometimes it's as simple as getting more exercise.

@vriska @SwordFighterSuper @Telvannichad Beyond aggravating to get told it was 5 different types of cancer. I can't imagine how my wife felt. I'm pretty ok. I knew doctors weren't perfect but that was my first real redpilling about it. Later I had a hernia that I was born with burst open. I worked as a lumberjack for years moving logs and hauling equipment without problems. The mystery disease weakened me and it tore. The doctor told me he could fix it with just stitches. When I woke up they told me they put a mesh in me. Fuck Doctors.
