We cannot defederate from mastodon.social since we would lose too much of the Fediverse!For now please keep reporting so we can suspend them while @Gargron is looking into the issue ❤️

@stux @Gargron wij zijn onder "Accounts" gewoon alle accounts in bulk aan het blocken, ipv per rapportage. Inmiddels allemaal gehad geloof ik.

@stux @Gargron ik ben moderator op .nl, dus het enige dat we daar kunnen doen is in bulk opschorten en hopen dat Eugen snel het probleem kan stoppen :) Maar op de Accountspagina kun je in elk geval per 40 tegelijk blokkeren, dat scheelt!

@stux using a limit/silence won't lose anything, just keep the spammers down. And make your federated feed a little more quiet, perhaps, but there's no such thing as too big to silence, for realzies.

@stux @GargronYou’ve just identified one of the major issues caused by the mastodon app creating a shortcut to their official server. You can’t defederate from them or you lose too much.

@stux @Gargron From all the admins I've talked to, you need 1 mod for every 1-1.5k people on an instance. Last I heard .social has 5 mods.
