@Genen you can only do it because somehow we have the idea that bodily integrity can be hand waved away regarding children. using a token system to bribe your kid into doing things twists their mind. i suspect that the real leverage was some form of "i only do it because i love you (if you don't go along it means you don't love me back)". the kid having issues is guaranteed with parents like this.
