**** #Mastodon improving onboarding experience ****I'm glad to see this. As you likely already know, I've been advocating improvements in this process publicly and loudly since I started on Mastodon late last year. It was sad to see how often I got responses from people who claimed, essentially, that anyone who was unable to navigate the existing process didn't deserve to be on Mastodon. @i_understand Quality control mandates centrally controlled sites for this option. A "random" qualified site today may go poof tomorrow.
