Another🩸state gov. defunding ways for children to learn: OK’s gov. is on a crusade against "Clifford the Big Red Dog," the network that produces the animated children's show & the local affiliate that airs it. Last week, Gov. Stitt vetoed a bill that authorized funding the OETA, which broadcasts PBS programming, thru July 2026. "I don't think Oklahomans want to use their tax$ to indoctrinate kids -Some of the stuff that they’re showing just overly sexualizes our kids.”-: https://www.msnbc.com/the-reidout/reidout-blog/oklahoma-governor-kevin-stitt-cuts-pbs-funding-lgbtq-rcna82504?cid=sm_npd_ms_tw_ma&taid=645230b4e664fc0001647d96&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter

@KimPerales I always believe that when adults are seeing sexualized things in kid's shows, they're actually pedophiles themselves.

@KimPerales On the flip side, it eliminates all leverage that the Rethugs have over PBS in the state. They can only eliminate funding once. When the station survives and then thrives, all relevance for the state government is removed.
