Do you enjoy running #Flatpak apps on your system? You can search #Flathub for apps that are hosted via our #Codeberg Pages feature, see https://flathub.org/apps/search/page%2EcodebergIf you develop a flatpak application somewhere else outside of proprietary platforms, feel free to share it in the thread, too.

@Codeberg I refuse to use flatpak on my computer. Apps are stupidly heavy and easily replaceable by native deb packages.

@Codeberg I certainly love installing Lutris and Heroic without getting my system infested by wine icons and entries all over the place, not to mention how easy it is to get whatever I want on there no matter what distro I'm on, cant say that for "official" distro repos. The sandbox functionality is the last thing I think about when using flatpak, I mainly care about ease of access and distribution, and it certainly already delivers on both.

@Codeberg Not really. Either deb or a plain zip is enough.

@Codeberg Yes. I almost always prefer properly made flatpaks over distribution packages. This allows me to use a stable OS with the latest applications.
