@md It occurs to me the subtly sarcastic response may not be helpful to the person missing the subtle sarcasm the first time around. So let me be explicit.It's super tiresome when randos roll up with reply-guy responses that assume I am a fucking idiot. So I suggest you do everybody the favor of imagining that they too can see obvious things. Because at this point I'm just blocking a lot of replies like this on sight.

@williampietri @md To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand William Pietri. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of leftist politics most of the jokes will go over a typical reader's head. There's also Will's sardonic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Ibram X Kendi literature, for instance. The followers understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike William Pietri truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Will's existential catchphrase "Wypipo, amirite" which itself is a cryptic reference to Diangelo's magnum opus White Fragility. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as William Pietri's genius wit unfolds itself on their phone screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂
