I switched to GrapheneOS, and I'm pretty stoked about it. For the first time in many years, I have OFFLINE voice to text input.I haven't been able to commit to dropping Google completely, yet, but being its a big step up just by not letting Google be the administrator on my device anymore. Much hype, highly recomended.

@RichardJohnson Lotsa good app replacements as well. Let me know if you need to know any of them. Like for instance, "Magic Earth" for gps and street directions.

@eglo It's built into Gboard, Google's keyboard. Under the "Voice Typing" setting, you can enable "Faster voice typing", which downloads the files it needs onto your device. After it has downloaded, you revoke network access from the app, so it can't go online in the future.
