@Mikeinyc I lived by that most of my life.Then I started eating the pineapple separately, picking it off and eating followed by the slice.Eventually it started to grow on me.I still prefer a proper combination but a Hawiian occasionally isn’t too bad anymore.A wise old man once said to my dad and I:Things changes….

@MountainJay @Mikeinyc Back in my anti Hawaiian days I made an observation about the human mind under stress.I would order from a really busy local pizza place.I’d order a combo and a Canadian bacon and pepperoni.I would invariably get delivered a combo and a Hawaiian.I finally figured that as soon as the stressed out person heard the P their mind snapped to Hawaiian.I started saying:Pepperoni and….uh….uh…do you have Canadian Bacon….ok I’ll have that.Fixed the problem.
